Christopher Wolfinger
PT, DPT, ATC, Clinic Director
Chris grew up in Pleasanton, California, where he played competitive baseball through high school and continued playing ice hockey through college. He went on to attend San Diego State University, earning his B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training. During his time at SDSU, he gained hands‑on experience as an athletic training intern with the San Diego Chargers.
He later completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of the Pacific, where he further expanded his sports medicine background through internships at EXOS in Los Angeles and with the San Francisco Giants. After graduating, Chris served as the Head Athletic Trainer for the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League before transitioning into the sports and outpatient physical therapy setting, where he continues to practice today.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids, especially while supporting their baseball, basketball, soccer, and musical theater activities. He stays active through fitness training, golfing, and snowboarding.
