Jennelyn Luna
PT, MPT
Jennelyn immigrated from the Philippines to Boston, Mass., but grew up in the South Bay area of San Diego, CA. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biopsychology from University of California Santa Barbara, and a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from CSU Fresno. She is fluent in her native language Tagalog, and conversational in Spanish. She has over 20 years of experience and has worked in outpatient physical therapy for the majority of her career, along with multiple years working in acute care hospitals, inpatient rehab, and home health physical therapy. She is skilled in management of complex patients with orthopedic and neurologic conditions, complicated by chronic medical conditions such as cardiopulmonary diseases.
Jennelyn is a certified Clinical Instructor. She has a special interest in Nutrition in Physical Therapy, has taken multiple continuing education courses in the topic, and will earn a certificate in Integrative Nutrition from UCSD by March 2026. She has done volunteer work for a local community Diabetes Prevention Program, a current member of San Diego Fall Prevention Task Force, former member of National City Parks, Recreation, and Senior Services Committee, and a current member of American Physical Therapy Association since 2001. Jennelyn has been licensed as a PT and worked in 5 states across the country when her husband served in the U.S. Navy. Currently, she enjoys settling down in their hometown of San Diego, spending time together with their three active teenagers, and now working and serving her local community. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and learning new recipes, planning parties, playing tennis, walks/hikes, bike rides, and watching sports, especially baseball and tennis.
